Black Friday is knocking on the door.
I would say it is six weeks away, but Black Friday seems to have become Black November, so let’s just say two more weeks.
This is the biggest eCommerce sales period each year.
And while it is exciting, it seems to be getting more diluted by the year…which means you need to have your ducks in order if you want to win big.
Custom landing pages can help with this.
Here’s what you can do:
1. Blatantly showcase the offer in the hero banner
Black Friday is the one time that you can shamelessly flex. Be obnoxious with it. Stand proud of your offer. Everyone needs to see it.
2. Run direct to checkout call to action links
No time to beat around the bush. Send people straight to checkout so they can secure their deal, and you can secure the sale.
3. Double down on urgency
People need to know that this sale is time sensitive and that they will not get another opportunity for another year to get deals as good as the one you run.
Countdown clocks are great for drilling urgency into people’s heads.
We ran a custom landing page for a client a few years back that made the buying process VERY easy.
It was simple offer (Buy 2 Get 1 Free) and a basic page.
They made a good chunk of change and the weekend was super smooth.

This was also a page without any UGC or authority based assets (photos of customers or “as seen in icons” etc) – which would definitely help further with converting the cold traffic coming in.
Keep your offer simple, make it easy for your customers to buy…
And you’ll win this Black Friday.
